The Brain and Behavior Laboratory is dedicated to the study of the relationships between human behavior and changes in the brain observed using physiological methods or as a consequence of brain injury. Currently our interests are focused on speech and language, using behavioral approaches, such as clinical ratings and listening studies, and quantitative approaches, such as acoustic analysis, in conjunction with functional brain imaging techniques. We are also actively collaborating with researchers in the Geriatrics Division on studies of the risk factors for pathological aging and cognitive decline.
